Uncle Si's portrait

Well, this was a nice surprise.   A gal from my church took my portrait of "Uncle Si" to Phil Robertson last time she was there to visit.    I did the portrait as a demo for a portrait workshop about a year ago and since I'm a big fan of "Uncle Si" and his "Si-isms" I thought I'd send it to him - not as a crazed fan - but as a thank you to him for the laughter from the show and the witticisms from his book that I have enjoyed over the years.   Phil was kind enough to allow a picture of him holding the portrait with a promise to pass it on to Si.   What an exciting place for my painting to go.
